Houses.net - Frequently Asked Questions
Where do these properties come from? Is this from a search engine? List Aggregator?
Great question. These sellers come directly TO US (through another division of our parent company HBN Interactive) asking for assistance in selling their home through our network of investors, agents, and professional home buyers. None of these distressed or pre-foreclosure properties come from a third party. There are no scraped lists of or data obtained from other search engines involved. Dude, where are the pictures? We're glad you asked. As stated on the home page, over 80% of these properties are not listed anywhere. Remember, these are distressed and pre-foreclosure houses. Normally, it is not just the mortgage company these home sellers are dealing with. They have creditors coming at them from every angle. There is a sense of embarrassment and "how do I fix this without my neighbors knowing?" kind of mentality going on here. So we have an dilemma in that the sellers NEED maximum exposure to sell their houses, yet they want to retain their privacy. Hence, there are no pictures on most properties. If you have an interest in a property on houses.net, simply complete the "Find Out More Now" form on the property details page. We will route your inquiry to the right person to get your more information on the property, if it's still available. OK, I understand that, but how do I know what the property looks like? I am not buying a house I have never seen before. We totally understand. That’s why we give you a contact point if you think you MAY have an interest in a property. The contact point is either one of several places: 1. The seller's email address (which is blinded from the public to maintain privacy for the seller), or 2. A real estate agent that may be representing the property, but doesn't necessarily have it as their own listing, or 3. a Third Party. We provide your contact information to the contact point and they review your inquiry. They will most likely schedule a time for you to see the property at best or email you pictures. This seems like a lot of work to find a house. Well, we are not pretending to be a full MLS type service with 6 pictures and comps. If you want a house that has discounts up to 60%, it will take a little bit of research on your part. The best deals don't come knocking on your door, it's the other way around. We have given you a platform within www.houses.net to truly find undervalued property. You just need to search until a property grabs your interest. What's the deal with Certified Houses.net Agents? Where did you find these Agents? All of the certified agents represented on Houses.net were hand selected for multiple reasons. These include: total transaction volume; years of service; team concept versus individual agent; specializations in foreclosures, REOs, distressed properties and short sales. The certified agents in our network average over 100 transactions per year, where as the "traditional" agent has between 4-6 transactions per year. Our certified agents are in the top 1/2 of 1% of all agents in the nation. If you cannot find a distressed property on Houses.Net, contact the http://www.houses.net/agent-directory.aspagent in your area anyway. Our certified agents have other properties or homes that might be just what you are looking for. |
